John DiRoma of Newlight Financial Services Retires

John DiRoma of Newlight Financial Services recently sold his financial advisory business to New England Capital Advisors in Meriden. His son, Giancarlo, who had recently worked alongside of him these past four years, now works at ING in Windsor, CT as an Internal Wholesaler in the Retirement Services department.Having started his business here in Meriden back in 1985, serving both individuals and small businesses with their retirement plans, he has decided to retire from the business. Over these past 25 years he has been fortunate and blessed to have had the opportunity to get to know and help so many individuals and their families.
The Meriden Chamber has also been instrumental in helping to nourish his business through numerous networking opportunities. Throughout his career he has carried this thought quoted from the latter part of Proverbs 11:25 which says " ..he who refreshes others will himself be refreshed"
With the business now behind him, he looks forward to pursing other interests that include: non-profit and church ministry, volunteering at Gaylord Hospital and photography. He still plans to reside in Meriden with his wife Lynn and continue to be involved in the community.
