Guy DeFrances, Jr. will leave the law firm after 5 years to accept a position as a title counsel in the legal Department of the Connecticut Attorneys Title Insurance Co. in Rocky Hill, CT. Atty. DeFrances, who specializes in real estate and zoning issues, has represented several high profile development cases in Meriden. His new responsibilities will include providing legal support to the company's 2,000 member law firms throughout the state, policy underwriting assistance, and increasing the share of commercial real estate businesses.
