Kuhn Celebrates Employees at Annual Staff Event

Kuhn Employment Opportunities, Inc., a non-profit human services agency headquartered in Meriden, hosted a company-wide Staff Appreciation Day on Friday, June 26th. The "All Things Summer" themed day of festivities kicked off at twelve o'clock noon with a company prize drawing and lunch. Employees also enjoyed a fun-filled afternoon of outdoor games, music, trivia games, and spending quality time with fellow staff members.It was a well-deserved break for staff, who work diligently every day to enhance the lives of individuals with developmental and psychiatric disabilities by helping them to find employment and participate in community activities. This commitment helps program participants achieve their personal potential, gain self-esteem and become Valued, Independent and Proud; Kuhn's VIP principle. Staff Appreciation Day is a great way for Kuhn to honor these hardworking staff members.
"Every year, we are pleased to host this special day as a way to say `thank you!' to our employees," said Robert Stephens, Executive Director of Kuhn. "All of them contribute in instrumental ways toward helping us achieve our goals as an agency. It is a pleasure to recognize staff for their outstanding work in improving the lives of others."
