Kelli's recently hosted a performance by the Allegrettos, a Maloney High School singing group. The chorus performed for donations to help fund their April field trip to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina for a student competition. Customer Cindy Cannata of Meriden commented that she not only got her hair cut, she also got entertained by music that is usually presented at the Bushnell. The students sing at different locations in order to raise money. One parent believed that the informal performances help get the singers more recognition in the area. Frank Critelli maintains that the group should appear more in the community. They increase awareness and have fun too.
