Students from John Barry and Benjamin Franklin Schools, and Nathan Hale Cub Scout Pack 4, have made red and pink paper hearts to help raise money for animals cared for by the Rose Home Animal Rescue and Refuge. Hancock's Pharmacy is one of the sites that is selling the paper hearts. They can be purchased for $1 and proceeds will go towards providing medical care and food for more than 300 animals. The refuge needs foster-care givers to provide a temporary home for abandoned cats, kittens, dogs, puppies, bunnies and rabbits.
