Girls, Inc. very gratefully acknowledges the generous donation of $ 2,500 by the Meriden Kiwanis Club. President Donato Lupacchino believes the Club's priority is to help youth and deserving community organizations. Last year, Kiwanis donated three 10-foot tables to Girls, Inc. which are now being used. Girls, Inc. offers eight weeks of summer camp to students aged from kindergarten to fifth grade. Older girls begin job training. Girls, Inc. President Maureen Bilger, was pleased that her students could meet with their donors and express their gratitude.
