The Board of Directors of Girls Incorporated in Meriden is pleased to announce the appointment of Michelle Bourdeau as our new Executive Director. Tom Mezzanotte, Board President states "Michelle meets all of the qualifications we were looking for in an Executive Director she has a wonderful vision to continue to bring Girls Inc. to the next level and is committed to reaching out to the community."

Over the past year Michelle had been the Program Director for Girls Inc. Michelle has been a long time friend of Girls Incorporated as a volunteer program instructor prior to her coming on as a full time staff member in 2004. She has brought a wealth of local non-profit knowledge to Girls Inc. as she held the positions of Fund Development Coordinator for Girl Scouts, Connecticut Trails Council, and was the Associate Director for the United Way of Meriden and Wallingford.

Michelle received a Masters in Business Administration from Western New England College in Springfield, MA in 2003, where she also earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance in 1997. She resides in Meriden with her five year old daughter.

"I am very excited to be part of such a wonderful organization that inspires young women to be Strong, Smart, and Bold, as a women I am honored to be in this position and look forward to continue to lead this premier all girl organization in Meriden," states Michelle.
