2018 Meriden Rotary Installation Dinner

Meriden Rotary celebrated another fantastic year under the leadership of President Eric Park. There were many awards given and memories shared. Rotarian of the year was awarded to Dona Ditrio, our new Meriden Rotary President Kristilee La Haye was sworn in, volunteers Cindy Vessichio and Liz Rosado earned their awards as the Community Corps members of the Year. Keith French, a volunteer from Beat the Street Community Center was award the Howard Houston Award. Two Educational awards were given to deserving high school students Shakhodat Khanbabaeva, who received the Dan M. Hunter Award and Kim Vu, who was awarded the Joseph Barker Award. And the non-profit organization, Veterans4 was awarded the Service Above Self Award for their on-going efforts to distribute clean drinking water to disaster areas such as Puerto Rico. We plan to support that organization more in the future.
