Protein Sciences Donates Training Space for the Meriden Fire Department

On October 27, 29, 31 and November 5 the Meriden Fire Department trained on a building slated for demolition on the grounds of Protein Sciences on Research Parkway in Meriden. This building has provided Meriden Firefighters with training on new equipment including SCBA, thermal imaging cameras and nozzles. On duty companies were utilized while other fire companies covered responses throughout the city. All department personnel participated in this training which resulted in 294 contact hours.
