Summer Music Program at the Augusta

Augusta Curtis Cultural Center will be hosting Summer Music Program at the Augusta for students 5th through 9th grade with at least one year of playing experience from July 7 through the 18th. Students will work with certified music teachers in small groups as well as large ensembles. Students will increase their skills on instruments or voice as well as expand their knowledge of music theory and musicianship. The Program offers sessions for Band, Chorus, and Orchestra in the morning 8:30 to 11:30 and new this year an exploratory afternoon 12:30 to 3:30 for guitar, hand bells, xylophone, and world drumming. Afternoon session requires no experience and instruments will be provided. Full day for two weeks is $200 and half day for two weeks is $120.
