Saint Joseph School visits Eversource
December 11, 2016
The fifth grade class at Saint Joseph School attended a field trip to Energize Connecticut Center in North Haven, an energy efficiency resource center and a hands-on learning lab for children. The fifth graders were given an educational tour on the latest renewable technologies. They learned how to use energy wisely doing many hands on activities. The students also learned about: energy sources, the electricity generation and the important role energy plays in daily life. After their visit the fifth graders were empowered to make smart energy choices at home, at work and in their own community.
