Ten More Small Businesses in Connecticut Receiving Capital to Grow and Create Jobs

During National Small Business Week, CEDF Salutes Ten More Small Businesses in Connecticut Receiving Capital to Grow and Create Jobs!

According to the SBA, every year since 1963, the President proclaims National Small Business Week to recognize the contributions of small businesses to the economic well-being of America. There are approximately 27.2 million small businesses in America. Small businesses are a major force behind the creation of jobs�especially here in Connecticut. It is estimated that 60- 80 percent of the new jobs that will be created nationally will come from small businesses.

In Connecticut, CEDF is working to support small businesses everyday! Join us in congratulating these 10 businesses as they plan for growth and expansion to the benefit of our economy:

Connect-to-Talk is a private pediatric therapy practice specializing in therapies to children with disabilities, primarily on the Autism spectrum. The business is expanding and opening another location is Stamford with an emphasis on speech pathology.

For the Team Laundry is a modern, energy efficient, full-service laundry located in Bristol.; SoNo Baking Company & Cafe in Norwalk is owned by John Barricelli and offers a restaurant/dining area and retail and wholesale baking�absolutely delicious!; Strike-A-Pose salon in Middletown is owned by Erica Mullins and offers an utstanding personal salon experience.; It's the Perfect Party is a new business opening on Main Street in Torrington near the Warner Theater. Business owner Cheska Arnone is an experienced crafter and is opening a boutique style party and craft center for children and adults to enjoy!; CPI Manufacturing in Hartford, manufactures parts for the Aerospace Industry.; Duplicating Methods Company is a family owned and operated office equipment dealership based in East Windsor. The company specializes in providing networked, multi-functional equipment.; One-Tork Automation of Griswold is a new business that assembles actuation packages serving the Power Industry, Process Industry, Municipal and Water Treatment facilities and Oil and Gas Industries.; Photography by Paulette in West Hartford specializes in family, school and special occasion photography with a personalized touch.; Performance Logistics of Stratford is an independent trucking company in Stratford expanding its operations.
