Lawrence McGoldrick, President of Castle Bank and Trust Company announced the recent promotion of Kathleen S. Hewitt to Vice President, Branch Administration of the Bank. Mrs. Hewitt joined Castle Bank at its inception in April, 1999 following more than 20 years of service at the former Connecticut Bank & Trust and Fleet Bank in various Trust and Branch Management positions. She is a graduate of Eastern Connecticut State University and the Williams School of Banking.Mrs. Hewitt is active in many community organizations. She is a Director of the Boys and Girls Club of Meriden, serves on the Allocation Committee of the United Way of Meriden and Wallingford, is an Ambassador for the Greater Meriden Chamber of Commerce and is an active supporter of the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
Mrs. Hewitt lives in Meriden with her husband Howard and their two daughters.
