Castle Craig Players recently completed their first professional video entitled "Rag Dolls". Warren Stephan, founder and director of the players, considers his video-directing debut quite challenging. The play is their first consciousness-raising effort, the story of a little girl who seeks relief from abuse through conversations with her rag doll. The video is a joint venture with Catholic Family Services of Meriden and Meriden Youth Services Division. Its purpose is to increase awareness about the horrors of child abuse so that more children may be spared its effects, stated Ray Shocki, regional program director for CFS. The video will air on the Cox Cable Station in Meriden, Southington and Wallingford, but the dates and times are yet to be announced. Erin Moore, daughter of Chamber President Sean W. Moore, also appeared in the production.
