The hartford Line Construction Update: Town of Wallingford from April to June 2016
March 30, 2016
Beginning on Monday, April 4th and concluding by June, there will be construction activity at various grade crossings in Wallingford. Work will primarily include new drainage, curbing, sidewalks and signage. It will occur weekdays during the daytime hours of 9:00 a.m. � 3:00 p.m. and begin with Toelles Road, followed by, Ward Street, Quinnipiac Street, Hall Avenue, Parker Street, North Plains Highway and Pent Highway. One-way alternating traffic will be in place with the use of traffic personnel and proper signage.Please note that this schedule is subject to change.
This work is part of the overall upgrade of the New Haven-Hartford-Springfield commuter rail line � now branded as the Ctrail Hartford Line � scheduled to begin expanded service in January 2018.
