Open DOHR Free Employment Training Program for Certified Nurse Assistant

Women and Families Center's Open DOHR program is currently recruiting for the spring class. The Certified Nurse Assistant career track will prepare you for entry level positions in providing basic patient and resident care and help with daily living activities while improving your basic skills. You must be 18-24 years ole to enroll in this FREE training program.Program Components include: CAN Classes & Clinical; Career/Education Counseling; Paid Internship; Job/Employment Skills Workshops; Job Development/Job Placement Assistance; Math & Reading Tutoring Services. Certificate of training and CNA license upon successful completion of all program requirements. All course materials provided including: scrubs, gait belt, watch, and textbooks.
There will be a daytime CNA class that will be held at the MxCC Meriden Campus starting January 4th, 2016. There will be an evening CNA class that will be held at the MxCC Middletown Campus beginning January 11th, 2016..
To receive enrollment information call 203.235.9297 ext. 128 or apply in person at 169 Colony St., Meriden with Regina Cardona between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm Monday through Friday.
