September 13, 2009

The WFC Open DOHR Program is now accepting applicants for its 2-Day OSHA Construction Workplace Safety program on October 26th and 27th. With ARRA projects getting underway and stimulus money coming to Connecticut it's time to position yourself and your company to work on state and federally funded construction projects by completing this required training. This training is free and open to any Connecticut resident. Space is limited so contact Michael Buccilli, Program Director at (203) 235-9297.

This OSHA training is part of Open DOHR's Right to Work training series. Right to Work is an ARRA funded program, for individuals ages 19-24. It also includes a lead safe certification course, weatherization techniques, basic carpentry, construction math and job placement assistance. The Right to Work series has additional eligibility guidelines. For information on the Right to Work program please contact Michael Buccilli, Program Director at (203) 235-9297.
