Are you interested in helping end sexual violence in our communities? Would you like to provide support, information, and mentoring to homeless, near homeless or high risk youth? Women and Families Center is recruiting AmeriCorps members to join our 2004-2005 team. Join AmeriCorps, and earn a small stipend and partial Student loan cancellation for a few hours of service each week. To be eligible, volunteers must: Be at least 18 years of age or older; Have completed their High School Diploma or GED; Attend and complete our certification training; Be able to commit to 900, or 450 hours of service over a 12 month commitment period.
