Annual Healthy Family Funfest set for Sunday, February 23. Looking for a fun-filled family activity this winter? Mark your calendars for the annual Healthy Family Funfest, taking place on Sunday, Feb. 23, 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., at the Aqua Turf in Plantsville.The event, organized by The Hospital of Central Connecticut, Central Connecticut Senior Health Services and MidState Medical Center, features fun for every member of the family. Activities include a kids' area, obstacle course, virtual gym, petting zoo; speakers and demonstrations on a variety of health topics; health screenings, giveaways, prize drawings, and more. Best of all, admissions is free. Thanks to the Record-Journal, New Britain Herald, and The Bristol Press, who are our 2014 media sponsors and our Major League Sponsor, Eterna Vita Medspa.
