Week of Action is June 17-21: Personal Care Items Needed!

Hi Friends - we hope you are starting to enjoy the beautiful weather we have been having now. Now is the time of year when we reach out to you to invite you to participate in our Week of Action which runs from June 17-21. During this time, we are hoping that many of you will run a collection drive for personal-care items for New Opportunities of Greater Meriden and Master's Manna in Wallingford. You can decide if you would like to start your drive during the Week of Action or sooner.Personal-care items are important at food pantries because many of the clients are unable to purchase personal-care items on their budget or with their SNAP card so having access to these items at their pantry makes an immediate impact for them.
Please just let us know if you will be participating and we will work on coordinating which pantry will be the lucky recipients of your generosity.
