February is Black History Month

February is Black History Month.
Black History Month was established in 1976 to commemorate and celebrate the contributions to our nation made by people of African descent. Heart disease, cancer, and stroke are leading causes of death for African Americans.Throughout the month, we are sharing more about these conditions and what you can do for your health and more. We also shared how people of color can overcome hesitancy towards receiving the COVID-19 vaccine. We are continuing our Visibility Campaign series where we look to increase visibility of our Black staff, as well as our staff who have a passion for support and advocacy.
