Dr. Richard Kull Joins Masonicare's Behavioral Health Practice in Wallingford

Wallingford, CT, July 13, 2010. Wallingford-based Masonicare announced recently that Richard Kull, MD, has joined the organization's Behavioral Health practice located on the Wallingford campus. Dr. Kull, a psychiatrist, will specialize in evaluating and treating adults and individuals with specific geriatric psychiatric conditions on an outpatient basis.

Dr. Kull comes to Masonicare with an impressive resume and many years of experience in the geriatric mental health field, most recently serving as senior director with the merged Merck/Schering-Plough, the second largest drug company in the world. Dr. Kull is a graduate of Duke University, where he received both a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology and zoology and his medical degree. He completed his medical internship and residency in psychiatry at Harvard Medical School. He is a board-certified psychiatrist who has worked in a number of different hospital settings, both as a psychiatrist and psychiatry administrator. Dr. Kull and his wife, Yvonne, are residents of Milford. They have two children.

Masonicare's Behavioral Health Program, conveniently located on the Wallingford campus just off Route 150 in Wallingford, has psychiatrists, advanced psychiatric nurse practitioners and clinical social workers on staff to provide confidential evaluation and treatment of older adults, including medication assessment, psychotherapy, and support to families and caregivers to relieve stress-related concerns.
