Macri Roofing, Inc. Announces their move into Solar Industry.

Macri Roofing, Inc. announced today that it has launched a renewable energy division to incorporate solar products into their traditional business services. A variety of new solar products are now available through Macri Roofing, Inc's solar division and select team members have recently completed training in the renewable field.The company has also recently partnered with Earthsponse, an alternative energy firm and education center located in Binghamton, New York. Earthsponse provided classroom and hands-on training to Macri Roofing, Inc.'s personnel in solar photovoltaic (electric) and solar thermal (water) applications.
The growing demand for alternative energy products has rapidly been moving from large-scale applications to more commercial and residential solutions as a result of increased availability and lower costs. Macri Roofing, Inc. has been a leader in comercial and residential Roofing and Sheet Metal applications since 1956.
"This is a natural fit for us," says Macri Roofing, Inc's president, Michael A. Macri. "Most of today's solar equipment incorporates roofing as part of its delivery system. Our renewable energy division will remain dedicated to solar and any other new technologies that can provide alternative energy resources." Macri believes that partnering with Earthsponse is a good opportunity to bring solar to as many of its customer's as possible. "It allows us to spread the word that solar technology is on center stage today in Connecticut. We really want to give our customers clean energy solutions. The market for energy is changing and we want it to change for the better. Solar is a clean resource and a comfortable fit for our business."
