Gallery 53, 53 Colony St., Meriden will host a photography show August 9 -23. The show will consist of black and white as well as color photography Receiving for the show is Friday August 1st from 12 - 3 and Saturday, August 2nd from 10 -2. The public is invited to an opening reception on Saturday, August 9th from 1 - 3 PM. Gallery 53 operates with support from the Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development. Classes for adults and for children are offered as well as workshops, demonstrations and open studio space. Gallery 53 also offers team building activities as well as conference room rentals. The Artisan Gift Shop is open during all Gallery 53 hours and events. Gallery 53 is also open the first Sunday of the month from 12 - 3 PM. The Gallery will be closed during the first week of August.
