Kuczyneski Exhibit at Gallery 53

The Arts and Crafts Association/Gallery 53 will be hosting an exhibition for artist Joseph Kuczyneski, June 7th - 27th. Mr. Kuczyneski has exhibited his work at the Hartford Athenaeum and galleries around the state. The opening reception will be held on Saturday, April 7th and is open to the public.

On display in the Main Gallery will be his "Orchard Series" that took him eight years to complete. These paintings tell a beautiful story of the everyday lives of the people who make their living tending the trees and fields in apple orchards around the state. The Upstairs Gallery will hold a retrospective of Mr. Kuczyneski's work over the last five years. From large contemporary abstract art to designs created with long ago bottle caps, this show examines the versatility of the artist.

The Arts and Crafts Association of Meriden/Gallery 53 has been serving the community for over 100 years, it is a non-profit organization, committed to promoting and encouraging appreciation of the arts by means of educational programs, exhibits, workshops and lectures. The Gallery is open Tuesday through Friday, 12-4 pm, and Saturday, 10 a.m.-2 pm. Events are free and ample parking space is available across the street.
