Gallery 53 of the Arts and Crafts Association of Meriden (ACAM) is opening its Holiday Fair on Saturday, November 19, with a reception from 2 to 5 p.m. During the reception, The Karner Blues will perform. ACAM turns the entire gallery into a gift shop at this time of the year, with a wide variety of handmade arts and crafts on exhibit. In addition to small paintings and prints, the Gallery is showing stained glass, jewelry, scarves, baskets, cards, Christmas tree decorations and many other crafts, all affordably priced. Admission is free.

Holiday hours (through December 24) are Tuesday through Friday, 12-5 p.m. and Saturday, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. The Gallery is located at 53 Colony Street, with free and ample parking space across the street.
