INSPIRATIONAL GARDENS EXHIBIT - Gallery 53 of The Arts &Crafts Association of Meriden runs May 20 - 31. The exhibit will be held in conjunction with The Friends of the Library Garden Tour that will be on May 31 and the Gallery will be on the tour. There will be a collection of paintings by various artists in a variety of media as oils, watercolor, pastel and others of area gardens and beyond. The Reception will be Wednesday, May 21 from 2-4p.m. The public is welcome to browse and enjoy the refreshments at no charge. Gallery hours are Tuesday - Friday from noon to 4 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. except on Saturday, May 31 when the gallery will be open from 10a.m. to 5.p.m. at 53 Colony St., Meriden, next to Butlers Paint & Decorating and across from The First Congregational Church. Free parking across street and for one hour in front of gallery. Easy access to major highways.
