Opportunities are OPEN with Meriden's Kiwanis Club

I would like to thank you for your past support of our club's annual Kiwanis Peanut Day Fundraiser. For many years, members of our club have sold peanuts to local businesses to raise important funds that support our service projects, events, community donations, scholarships, and service leadership clubs in the Meriden schools. Peanut Day has become part of our brand and a signature fundraiser in our Meriden community.

Regrettably, Kiwanis Peanut Day, Inc., the organization that coordinated the production and distribution of Kiwanis peanuts nationally, unexpectedly closed its doors this Spring. This means the end of our annual fundraiser, but it does not end the Kiwanis' involvement and impact in our community and beyond.

Even though Peanut Day has ended, you can support the Kiwanis Club of Meriden and our mission of serving the children of the world in other ways. We invite you to consider:

-Joining our Kiwanis Bulletin distribution list, contact us to be subscribed to our regular email Bulletins with updates about our club projects and fundraisers. -Purchasing shortcake desserts during our Strawberry Shortcake Sale, our next sale is scheduled for May 2020 and free delivery is available! -Join Kiwanis! You or an employee can join our club either as an individual or corporate member. Members attend bi-monthly meetings, do hands-on service projects, and run fundraisers to help our community. -Become a Corporate Sponsor, your company can become an official sponsor of the Kiwanis Club of Meriden. Sponsors enable Kiwanis to fulfill its service in the community and in exchange receive advertisement at club events and in our Bulletin.
