Meriden will be host to 24 teams from Vermont to Maryland for the Meriden Youth Travel Baseball Tournament, 2005 Silver City Grand Slam, that will be held July 1 - 4 at Ceppa Field in Meriden.

The 2005 Silver City Grand Slam needs volunteers! Whether you are available for one game or several games, MYTB needs volunteers to maintain fields and concession stands, hold 50/50 raffles, announce games, spin tunes and be official scorekeepers. If you are interested please contact MYTB. Thanks in advance. With the largest field ever, the tournament promises to once again provide an exciting weekend of baseball. Admission to the tournament is free. The tournament championships will be held Sunday July 3rd at Ceppa Field. The 14-U final is scheduled at 3:00 PM, while the 16-U final will be held at 6:00 PM.
