January Classes Offered at DPT

All of our Yoga classes are taught by certified yoga instructors. You can feel free to drop in to any of the classes. Payments is handled by each individual instructor.

Kripalu - A gentle to moderate mixed level class that is Kripalu based, taught by Christina. Drop in rate $14 or pay for the series. Thursdays at 5:00pm. For more information on this class call (203) 464-2386. Vinyasa- A beginner to moderate level flow class taught by Dennis on Wednesdays at 7pm. $15 drop in or $120 for the series of 10 classes. YOGAspirit- Beginner level class that even those who have experience would benefit from. Iyengar based style that emphasizes proper alignment of the spine and pelvis. Taught by Karen on Mondays at 7:30pm. $12 drop in or pay for the series, each having a different theme. Call 203-237-6661 for more information.

Core Stability - This hour long exercise class helps to improve balance, posture and endurance. We use the exercise balls, foam rollers, theraband, weights and do floor work to increase strength and stability of the abdominal and spinal muscles. You can go your own pace and increase the difficulty, as you are able. This ongoing class meets Mondays at 6:15pm. $12 drop in or class cards available (5 for $50 or 11 for $100). Taught by Michelle Thibeault, PT.

Bellydancing - Learn posture, rhythms and basic Middle Eastern movements in this class led by Maroznia. You will learn to reconnect with your body, build confidence, and camaraderie amongst your sisters in dance. Beginner class series on Tuesdays at 7pm and advanced class Thursdays from 7:00pm to 8:15pm. Call Maroznia for details (203) 639-8266.
