New Summer 2021 Tourism Campaign: Say Yes to Connecticut!
May 6, 2021
We are thrilled to announce our 2021 summer marketing campaign: Say Yes to Connecticut! After saying "no" to so many things due to the pandemic, we are now encouraging consumers to say "yes" to all the wonderful tourism activities in the state.Running May 1 through September 6, the integrated, multi-media campaign will feature businesses and activities that make up Connecticut's tourism industry sector and will target residents of CT, NY, RI and MA.
Say Yes to Connecticut aims to: 1) Reassure state residents and visitors that Connecticut businesses are ready to welcome them back safely; 2) Raise awareness of all Connecticut has to offer so close to home; and 3) Drive revenues to Connecticut businesses.
Earlier today, Governor Lamont announced the new campaign in a press release. "Connecticut has an incredible mix of tourism offerings - from arts and cultural venues and restaurants, to lodging properties and outdoor recreation areas - all of which help generate business sales, tax revenues, and statewide jobs benefitting our communities," Governor Lamont said. "The new campaign is a great reminder of that diversity and the growing optimism among travelers that we believe will put people back to work and translate into an industry-wide recovery for tourism beginning this summer."
Hundreds of businesses will be included in the campaign via social media and content marketing. To be considered for inclusion, make sure we know about your offerings and keep an eye on this page of the Partner Portal.
Tourism businesses are major contributors to the state's economy, so all campaign efforts aim to fuel the Connecticut tourism industry's recovery.
It's time to Say Yes to Connecticut!
