Bob Durelli was recently named director of Financial Reporting and Analysis for Wallingford-based Masonicare, CT's largest not-for-profit provider of senior-focused healthcare services and retirement living communities. James Standish, Masonicare's Senior Vice President and CFO, made the announcement. Bob graduated from Merrimack College with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting. Prior to his appointment, he served for 16 years as the Corporate Controller for Hospital for Special Care in New Britain. In announcing the appointment, Standish said, "I have known Bob professionally since 1996, and he brings a wealth of knowledge and financial expertise to this very important position. With his many years of experience in the healthcare field, he'll be a valuable addition to our financial services team. We are very fortunate to have him join our organization." Durelli resides in Waterbury with his wife, Elaine. While at the Hospital for Special Care, he was a member of the New Britain YWCA Finance Committee. Masonicare's affiliates include Connecticut VNA, with several offices statewide, including Brookfield and Waterbury, Masonic Healthcare Center and Ashlar Village of Wallingford, Ashlar of Newtown, and The Masonic Charity Foundation of Connecticut.
