Ion Bank Names New SVP, Commercial Lending

Ion Bank has hired Paul J. LaMonica Senior Vice President of Commercial Lending. Paul has joined the Bank's Commercial Lending Department where he will work closely with local businesses to develop and expand commercial relationships for new and existing customers. He will be a trusted advisor and partner with businesses to help them grow their business.

Prior to joining Ion Bank, LaMonica worked for 10 years as a Senior Vice President, Commercial Real Estate Team Leader for Farmington Bank in Farmington. Prior to that he worked for First Horizon National Corporation as Senior Vice President, New England Regional Market Manager and Vice President, Senior Commercial Real Estate Lender for Liberty Bank.

Paul is the Past President and current member of the Real Estate Finance Association of Hartford. He is a past program committee chair for REFA, CT, as well as being a past president of the Middletown Exchange Club, a board member of the Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce, a member of the Middlesex Hospice Golf Committee, and serves as a Corporator for Middlesex Hospital. He resides in Middletown.
