BL Companies Announces New Board of Directors Members

Gerry Salontai, PE has joined BL Companies' board. Gerry is recently retired from an 11-year tenure as Chairman of the Board and CEO of the Kleinfelder Group, Inc., a $300+ million management, planning, engineering, science and construction services consulting company headquartered in San Diego, California and offices throughout the United States. Kleinfelder, like BL Companies, is an employee owned (ESOP) company. Gerry serves on several other corporate boards.

Waite Dalrymple was elected to the Board in June 2010 and now serves as BL's Chairman of the Board. Waite is the cofounder and former President and CEO of Parametrix. Parametrix offers services in transportation, natural resources, toxicology and risk sciences, solid waste management, and cultural resources. It is a 100% ESOP-owned company with 450 employee owners in Washington, Oregon, New Mexico, Colorado and Idaho. Waite also serves on several other corporate boards.

Steve Fischer was re-elected to his third term. Steve is a semi-retired business lawyer with many years experience and expertise with ESOPs and in corporate finance. Steve serves on several ESOP company corporate boards. He has been on BL's Board of Directors since October of 2008.

The new internal board member is Rainer Muhlbauer, AIA, LEED AP. Rai serves as BL's Co-Director of Architecture. Rai is based in Meriden, CT. Rai joins three incumbent internal Board members who were reelected: Carolyn Stanworth, President, Jennifer Marks, LS, Director of Surveying, and Mark Koellner, PG, Director of Environmental Sciences. Carolyn Stanworth, President of BL Companies commented,
