On September 12th, the Record-Journal launched a new weekly publication, the Plainville Citizen. It will be delivered to every household, business and post office box in Plainville. Similar to the Berlin Citizen, the Plainville Citizen will feature coverage of sports, town politics and meetings, business, fitness and health, schools, and other community events. "We've had good experience with the weekly we have in Berlin," Eliot White, President said. "People want to read about their community and the place where their neighbors and friends are."
