WHEELER CLINIC SELECTED AS TOP WORKPLACE FOR THIRD CONSECUTIVE YEAR

Our integrated approach to primary and behavioral health, education and recovery creates measurable results, positive outcomes and hopeful tomorrows for more than 30,000 individuals across Connecticut each year.

"Our selection for this award for the third year in a row is a strong testament to the dedication and skills of our team," said Susan Walkman, LCSW, president and chief executive officer of Wheeler Clinic. "Our employees embrace our organizational values of quality, innovation and professionalism, and adhere to a passionate commitment to encouraging recovery, health and growth in the lives of the individuals and families we serve.

"The special recognition for our managers this year is noteworthy and meaningful to me. We have a tremendous sense of pride that our employees have the support and training to do their work so well," added Walkman. In the three years that Wheeler has received a Top Workplace award, two of those years featured recognition for supporting staff: an award for training in 2013 and now for manager support in 2015.

The Top Workplaces are determined based solely on employee feedback. The survey is conducted by Workplace Dynamics, LLP, a leading research firm on organizational health and employee engagement.
