The Club recently received a $10,000 grant from the JC Penney Co., announced Dick Seethaler of the Club and Steve Cason of Penney's. The grant was only one of 60 nationwide as part of JC Penney's Project Learn Program, and was made after a 30-month evaluation. This project is a ground breaking educational enhancement program designed to create new hope for children. Over the next three years, Penney's will invest millions of dollars to implement their Can Do After School Project Learn Program at more than 2300 Boys and Girls Clubs nationwide.
