Gallery 53's new director, Traci Walsh DiPietro, h ...

Gallery 53's new director, Traci Walsh DiPietro, has been a volunteer for two years and is replacing Lillian Carney upon her retirement. Traci is the exhibit coordinator for the Meriden YMCA and owns DiPietro Designs with her husband. Traci plans to make Gallery 53 better known and more accessible and to cooperate with other arts organizations. Traci also hopes to bring art to younger people; she has worked at area schools with students both in the classroom and on mural projects. She is planning the 75th year gala party of Gallery 53 in conjunction with an outdoor Arts Festival in September.
