PROSHRED Connecticut Presents Check for $6,683 to AICR

Dave Symonds, PROSHRED Security and his wife Patty Symonds, recently presented a check for $6,683 to the American Institute for Cancer Research's Glen Weldon (AICR Director of Education and Communication) at the Proshred Annual Conference in San Diego.Proshred Connecticut held 3 "Shred Cancer" Events at the Westfield Malls in Meriden and Milford (aka Connecticut Post Mall). Two of the events were held on June 6th 2015 and an additional one was held on September 19th. The Mall's administration were instrumental in helping to raise the funds through their offer to use high exposure locations as well as their social marketing campaigns which helped drive great numbers of folks to the events.
Attendees were not only looking to protect their identity but wanted help out a great cause. We were told time after time how people were happy donate money to the AICR because they had family or friends that had been touched by cancer.
