Residents of Masonic Healthcare Center's skilled nursing units and the Leslie G. Wright Residence proudly displayed their artwork recently at a formal exhibit held in the Center's auditorium. Residents, family members and employees were invited to view the paintings and pencil drawings completed during the last six months, with many of the artists on hand to personally greet visitors and offer refreshments.Patricia Sittnick, Recreation Therapist and art teacher at the Masonic Healthcare Center, said many residents participate in the art programs offered at the Center and enjoy the recognition they receive from their peers. "Our weekly classes give residents the opportunity to communicate through art and express their individuality."
