- Neighborhood Assistance Act - Applications Due FRIDAY, MAY 24, 2024
The Town of Wallingford will be implementing the provisions of C.G.S. 12-631, the Neighborhood Assistance Act. Under the 2024 Neighborhood Assistance Program, non-profit agencies that serve Wallingford residents are eligible to participate in this program.

The Presidential Preference Primary will be held on April 2, 2024. Town Clerk's Office will be closed on April 2nd due to the Primary! Early voting will begin on Tuesday, March 26th. Registrar's Office will be testing the tabulators on Friday, March 22nd. Click here for additional information. Any questions, please call the Registrar's Office at (203)294-2125. - Senior permits will expire on March 30, 2024. New permits will be available for purchase at the Wallingford Resident Disposal Center beginning Monday, April 1, 2024.
Please note that Permit purchases are available until 2:30 PM during the week, and NO Permits will be available for purchase on Saturdays. - Police Department Press Release: Bank Robbery in Wallingford
On March 27th 2024, around 1225 hours, Wallingford Police responded to TD Bank (928 North Colony Road) for a reported bank robbery that had just occurred. Members of the Wallingford Police Department will join other state and local police departments throughout the month of April by making concerted efforts to enforce various distracted driving laws. These efforts will take place on local and state roadways within the Town of Wallingford.
